R7 930 raised for house fire victims

About R7 930 have been raised for Monica Luies and her foster children at the Bullfrog Pan in Benoni on November 4.

RC Pitstop held a charity day for the family after their Boksburg North house burnt down in September.

The Advertiser published an article (Heartbroken foster parent loses house and children) in the newspaper dated October 13 on page 12.

The event had a very good turnout with a total of 28 radio controlled crawlers and loads of people just wanting to help and pulling in for a good cause.

People came from as far as Newcastle in KwaZulu-Natal to attend and make a difference in Monica and her three sons’ lives.

Event organiser Duane Jordaan thanks Pioneer for the donations of prizes for the lucky draws.
