Boksburg North SAPS arrest suspected thieves

Boksburg North SAPS recently arrested two suspects in separate cases of possession of stolen property.

While patrolling on August 17, Capt Phineas Madlala noticed a man acting suspiciously, on the corner of Eleventh Avenue and Second Street, at about 2pm.

According to the Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, Madlala searched the suspect and found gas bottles and pots in his possession.

“He could not tell the officer where he got the items,” said Coetzer.

The suspect was arrested and detained.

In a separate case, the police received information about a tracking signal from a stolen car indicating the car was in Edgar Road, Jansen Park, on August 18, at about 9pm.

Arriving at the scene, they located the stolen car and arrested a suspect.
