WATCH: Butchery robbers caught on camera

Boksburg police are on the hunt for three armed men who, on July 20, were caught on camera robbing the Stallion Butchery, at Stallion Shopping Centre, in Ramaphosa.

All robbers in the video can be seen entering the business, pretending to be customers.

In the video, the first robber, wearing a blue cap, necklace and black jacket is seen entering the butchery and approaching the cashier.

His accomplice, wearing a red top, is seen entering the butchery and walking straight to the same cashier. He is also seen talking to the cashier before taking a few steps backwards.

The third robber, wearing a white hooded Uzzi jacket, then enters the business and stands next to an unattended till, located next to the one occupied by the cashier.

After making an eye contact with his accomplice, the gunman wearing a red top, the man in a white hooded Uzzi jacket is now seen walking towards the door.

At that particular moment, the robber in a red top withdraws his firearm and aims it at the cashier who is at the serving customers.

The gunman’s accomplice wearing a blue cap is seen returning to the till in question and they appear to be instructing the cashier to open the cash register – while the terrified customers are seen running in different directions.

The ruthless gunman is seen hitting the cashier on the head with the firearm as she tries to open the cash register.

The robbers are seen pulling the cash drawer from the till while the cashier holds on to the monitor.

The cashier then uses this opportunity to escape.

The robbers manages to rip the cash drawer out of the till and are seen walking out of the butchery with it.

No shots were fired and apart from the assaulted cashier, no other injuries were reported.

Police are investigating a business robbery case, and are adamant that with the assistance of the public, the robbers will soon be brought to book for their crime.
