An organisation called the Youth Information Desk organised the festivities of the day.
The Youth Information Desk organisation deals with young people and helps those facing teenage pregnancy, drugs or other issues.
In an effort to make a difference, young people in Windmill Park spent their 67 minutes cleaning the Gelberboom Street in the morning.
They then proceeded to the Bride of Christ Church where they held a modelling competition, talent show and listened to motivational speeches.
The event was graced by officials from the Department of Community Safety who donated crayons and colouring books to the New Light Day Care Centre.
*Meanwhile, in Windmill Park, the generous Lona Daniels from Mama Lorna’s Helping Early Childhood Development, spent 67 minutes giving bread to the community of Windmill Park.
