Rotary Club of Boksburg inducts passionate leader

Rotary Club of Boksburg inducted president Noel Wauchope for his second term of office, on July 5.

Jessica Kok (82) was also recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow by the club in appreciation of her 27 years’ service.

According to the Rotary Club of Boksburg, Kok has organised and led the club’s Badplaas holidays for senior citizens.

The holiday entails taking responsibility for some 60 senior citizens who are booked, bused there and back and taken care of during a weeklong all-inclusive holiday at the Rotary Resort at Badplaas.

It is admittedly a huge task and much appreciated by the guests, the club and Rotary.

To take this task on is, although fun, is an enormous responsibility and to do it for 27 years is admirable and almost unbelievable.
