Donate hygiene items to help break world record

In 2014, Remax Randgro set a new Guinness World Record, with assistance from Boksburg and Benoni pet lovers, by collecting 15 493kg of dog and cat food.

This year, on August 25 and 26, Remax is again attempting to break a Guinness World Record with the collection of personal hygiene items for the underprivileged in Boksburg and Benoni.

The existing world record is 20 000 units.

Remax is aware that they will only be able to achieve their goal by again appealing to communities and corporates for donations.

Schools, clubs and companies are urged to take part in this fun initiative by dropping their donations off at the Remax offices, at 249 Rondebult Road, Farrar Park, or at 45 Lakefield Avenue, Lakefield, Benoni, on August 25 and 26.

Keep an eye on the Advertiser for further details on collection points as well as particulars about the distribution of the personal hygiene items collected.

Organisations which accept donations of this kind can email info@remax-randgro.co.za.
