Fund-raiser to support musician battling cancer
A fund-raising event will be hosted for Melvin Nortje, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer.
The event will be held on Sunday, July 2, at The Soul Shack, from 10am to 8pm. The event will feature numerous artists.
Melvin is a talented musician who has a wife and two children, aged 5 and 9.
The funds raised at the event will be utilised for his treatment and to assist his family with necessities.
Companies and the public are urged to pledge their support.
Any donations are welcome, be it financially or with items that could be auctioned/raffled or with groceries/household items or by just attending the event.
