Hackathon competition applications now open

The City of Ekurhuleni calls upon young people between the ages of 14 to 35 years to apply for participation in this year’s Ninja Hacks Hackathon Competition taking place from June 28 to 30 at the Alberton Civic Centre.

 

 

 

The completion is open to people with the ability to design and develop software projects that will be used to develop a youth portal for the city’s youth directorate.

Applicants must be residents of Ekurhuleni and proof of residence must accompany your application.

Those residing with parents, relatives or siblings should submit proof of residents along with an affidavit affirming such a status.

The candidates should have skills in web design, database preferably SQL or MySQL and web application development preferably PHP, .NET.

Applications forms are available on  www.hackathon.ekurhuleni.gov.za.

It is essential to book your spot as space is limited to the first 250 applicants.
