Please bring your donations to help the #Knysna fire relief efforts

The Advertiser thanks Daryl Hutchinson from Bartlett for dropping of much needed donations to help those who suffered as a result of the fire in Knysna.

The Advertiser applauds Daryl Hutchinson's gesture of goodwill.

A drop off point for donations for #Knysna fire relief efforts has been set up at the Boksburg Advertiser offices.

Hutchinson has donated towels, a tent and clothing.

The offices is located in 20 Sydney Road, Ravenswood, Boksburg.

Knysa has suffered extensive damage due to a raging fire that has gutted homes, businesses and which has left fatalities in its wake.

Hundreds of residents in Knysna are therefore  in desperate need of help.

Donations will be transported to Knysna next week Friday (June 16).

Please visit our office during working hours to make your donation.

Here is a suggested list of item:

  • Tinned goods & can openers
    Cutlery/crockery – paper cups/plates
    Blankets
    Bottled water
    Diapers
    Second-hand clothes, shoes
    Sanitary pads/toiletries – toothbrushes, soap etc
    Long life milk, cereal
    Fruit
    First aid supplies
    Pet food
    Baby formula
    Old tents
