Airport monitoring strike by cabin crew of SAA

Management of OR Tambo International Airport is aware of the strike by cabin crew of SAA from today and is closely monitoring the situation.

This is according to Leigh Gunkel-Keuler, senior manager Corporate Affairs of OR Tambo International Airport.

“We are in close contact with the airline to ensure that we are prepared for all eventualities arising from the strike,” said Gunkel-Keuler.

“We are also hoping for minimal disruption to airport operations and that the relevant parties can resolve the situation effectively as soon as possible.

“However, the airport has contingency plans in place and we hope for minimal disruption in order to ensure business continuity.
