The airwrap hack for cool curls

Get with the trend and try out funky airwrap curls after using your favourite TRESemmé products and steal the show!

If you have not heard of the recent airwrap hack, where have you been?

A global vaccuum cleaning manufacturer recently made international headlines by spending R981 241 300 in developing supersonic hair dryers that retail for around R6 000. They followed this innovation by creating an airwave hair tool, that had Cosmopolitan.com saying “ it is a multi-use styling tool that can create a whole host of hair looks, without the need for excessive heat. It can blow-dry, curl, wave, smooth, straighten and volumise and it works across a range of hair types …”

The key selling point of the airwrap tool is the ability to make easy, voluminous curls in a flash. But at around R8 000, not many of us will get to experience its magic. That is not to say that people won’t try and hack their way around the problem. So without further ado, go and check it all out on the internet.

Whichever way you go, remember to wet your hair lightly or prepare the hair with your favourite TRESemmé Hair Spray for amazing bounce.

Switch on your hair dryer and watch the section of hair spin around like a little hurricane. Remove the device after a few seconds of drying (use your discretion cause heat is not hair’s best friend) and you should have one section of hair, which has been curled to a point at which can be split into smaller, individual curls. Repeat with the remaining sections of hair.

If you’re a visual person, Youtube is full of influencers putting this curling method to the test so you can watch amateurs and masters perform this trick.
