St Dominic’s achieves 102 distinctions

St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls once again achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, honouring a long tradition of educational excellence.

A total of 79 students wrote the 2016 Independent Examinations Board matric examinations, achieving a commendable 102 distinctions.
The top achievers are:

* Tanisha Ravjee achieved eight distinctions (English, Afrikaans, French, mathematics, accounting, physical sciences, life sciences and life orientation).
* Bianca Costa-Tré achieved seven distinctions (English, Afrikaans, mathematics, physical science, life sciences, accounting and life orientation).
* Marcela de Olim achieved seven distinctions (English, French, mathematics, physical science, accounting, consumer studies and life orientation).
* Sibulele Gando achieved seven distinctions (English, Afrikaans, mathematics, physical science, life sciences, geography and life orientation).
* Jessica van der Spuy achieved seven distinctions (English, Afrikaans, mathematics, physical science, accounting, history and life orientation).
* Nabeela Lambat achieved six distinctions (Afrikaans, mathematics, accounting, physical science, life sciences and life orientation).
* Natasha Lavis achieved six distinctions (English, Afrikaans, mathematics, accounting, geography and physical science).
* Caeleigh Foster achieved five distinctions (Afrikaans, mathematics, accounting, life sciences, physical science and life orientation).
* Savanna Brombacher achieved four distinctions (English, mathematics, physical science and life orientation).
* Venisha Govender achieved four distinctions (English, history, physical sciences and life orientation).

Headmaster Roger Loring is extremely pleased with the results and wishes the students well in their future studies.
