Woodlands gets 100 per cent pass rate

Boksburg's Woodlands International College achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the 2016 IEB matric results.

The school’s 46 matriculants collectively obtained 52 distinctions and achieved a 100 per cent Bachelor Degree university entrances.

The school’s Head of department – Student Affairs, Joachim Labuschagne, congratulated the class of 2016 Matrics on their achievements.

The school’s top student for 2016 was Chloe Wiggill who obtained 6 distinctions in Accounting, English, Life Orientation (top one per cent in IEB), Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

Second was Natalie Coker with five distinctions in Afrikaans, Business Studies, English, History and Life Orientation.

Kayla Thomas achieved four distinctions in Afrikaans, English, History and Life Orientation.

Rebecca Nicholson achieved in the top one per cent, for IEB Mathematics Literacy.
