Christmas cheer for Boksburg orphanage home

Children at the Zandi’s Angels orphanage home in Boksburg North enjoyed a festive braai organised by their biggest supporters, waste management company EnviroServ Group, on December 9.

In 2012, EnviroServ bought a property in the name of EnviroServ Investment Trust to assist the orphanage which was in need.

The house is run by Zandi and her husband, Phineas, Madlala.

Zandi also runs a daycare centre for underprivileged children in the area.

EnviroServ members spent the day at the house were they played with the children and had a heartwarming lunch together as a family.

Delia Lavarinhas, EnviroServ marketing director, said: “Zandi’s Angels have a very special place in our hearts at EnviroServ. Children are precious and we are happy to contribute to society by helping to give these youngsters a secure home,” said Lavarinhas.

Madlala expressed her joy for what EnviroServ did for them as an orphanage when they were in need.

“We thank everyone who made this day wonderful and exciting as we had a nice lunch as they treated us to good food. They do this every year so we are thankful for their efforts and contributions in making these children lives easier,” Madlala said.
