Reiger Park SAPS volunteers, staff recognised for achievements

A number of volunteers and permanent staff at the Reiger Park SAPS were recently recognised for their outstanding performance in the fight against crime within the Reiger Park policing precinct.

The prestige event, attended by the scores of awards recipients and special guests, was held at Carnival City.

Among the attendees were the Ekurhuleni Central Cluster Commander Maj-Gen Bruce Subbiah, Octavia Ngwenya from the Gauteng Community Safety MEC, CEO of AfriSun Pumla Mutle, local ward councillors, CPF and Reiger Park SAPS management teams.

Awards and gifts were presented in several categories to recognise best performers in categories including the sub-forum, CPF patrollers, CPF executive, admin, detectives, vispol and management.

The event was sponsored by local businesses including Carnival City/AfriSun, Stallion Cash and Carry and Actom Knights.
