Armed with handguns, the pair stormed into the business, which sells batteries, and held up the staff at gunpoint.
One of the thugs proceeded to the office where he found another staff member.
His accomplice remained in the battery warehouse keeping an eye on the other employees.
Once in the office, the robber threatened the staff member with his weapon and stole the stash of money which was kept in a drawer.
No shots were fired and both thugs were seen fleeing the scene on foot.
It is unclear if there was a getaway car waiting nearby.
A case of business robbery was registered and police are now on the hunt for the pair, described as black males.
Police records revealed that these types of crimes are becoming more prevalent in the CBD.
Any witnesses are urged to contact the Boksburg police.
