As part of the daycare centre’s fund-raising effort, volunteers sold sweets, boerewors rolls and soft drinks to the parents and children who came to support the initiative.
All proceeds from the sale of these items went to the Angel Wings Care Centre’s projects to benefit its more than 70 beneficiaries, who consist of scores of destitute children.
In addition to that, the recently established state-of-the-art childcare centre also donated R1 000.
During the event, supporters had an opportunity to win prizes.
Angel Wings Care Centre founder, Willem Boshoff, was on Saturday clearly overwhelmed by the generosity of the school and thanked everyone who contributed something towards the project. -@FanieFLK
