Twinkle Toddlers serve the poor and destitute

Twinkle Toddlers Day-Care held a fund-raiser to raise money for the Benoni-based Angel Wings Care Centre.

As part of the daycare centre’s fund-raising effort, volunteers sold sweets, boerewors rolls and soft drinks to the parents and children who came to support the initiative.

All proceeds from the sale of these items went to the Angel Wings Care Centre’s projects to benefit its more than 70 beneficiaries, who consist of scores of destitute children.

One of the children who came with their parents to support the initiative, Chime Okafor had his face painted by Fouzia Teklebrhan during the event.

In addition to that, the recently established state-of-the-art childcare centre also donated R1 000.

During the event, supporters had an opportunity to win prizes.
