Warnock dies after accidental shooting

Condolences and prayers are pouring in for a AAA security guard who died after being accidentally shot on October 16.

It is understood that Clinton Warnock was responding to a burglary at Grancore in All Black Road, Boksburg North when the incident occurred.

After apprehending the suspects, a firearm of one of the people at the scene accidentally went off and hit him in the neck.

Warnock was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he later died.

Clinton Warnock appeared in the advertiser after apprehending men who stole a i-Mac computer, within minutes.

Boksburg North police spokesperson Juanita Coetzer confirmed the shooting incident.

Police are investigating.

Community members have already established a “Tribute to Clinton” WhatsApp group where they are sharing their condolences and prayers for the fallen “soldier”.
