Rotarians visit Urban Ruins

Once a year each Rotary Club and its Rotary Anns club receive a visit from the District Governor and his District Governor Ann.

This year, the District Governor, Grant Daly, and some of the Rotarians visited Boksburg and, more specifically, Urban Ruins.

The Urban Ruins project is a social entrepreneurial venture aimed at uplifting children in the community of Boksburg.

These visits not only ensure that the District Governor couple is informed about all club activities at executive meetings, but projects are visited to show the progress of the clubs when it comes to helping people.

This year the international Rotary theme is Rotary Serving Humanity and all clubs work hard at implementing this theme in their work by organising activities, fund-raisers and projects.
