Germiston SAPS Flying Squad spokesperson Const Ntombikayise Ngcobo said members W/O Siewert Wiid, Const Levy Seemise and Serg Richard Horn acted after receiving a tip-off.
On Sunday, August 14, members of the Germiston Flying Squad were alerted to a drug deal in the policing area of Dawn Park SAPS.
They responded to the given address in Dawn Park and found two women between the ages of 30 and 35 at the property.
“Upon searching the place they found dagga , mandrax and an undisclosed amount of cash,” said Ngcobo.
Ngcobo said the drugs are valued at approximately R20 000.
In a separate incident, at around 5pm on the same day, the same officers nabbed an 18-year-old woman while they were busy with patrols in Blue Sky informal settlement.
“The officers found dagga estimated at R10 000 in her possession,” said Ncgobo.
Cases were opened at Dawn Park and Boksburg police stations and the suspects are due to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
