The suspects robbed a a man of his cash while he was walking along Rietfontein Road, close to Second Street, around 6pm.
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, the suspects approached the complainant, threatened him at knife point and demanded his cash.
“They searched him, took all the cash on him and ran away,” Coetzer said.
The complainant immediately went to the Boksburg North SAPS to report the crime.
The SAPS went with the complainant to look for the suspects and found them on the corners of Second Street and Fifth Avenue.
The police searched the suspects and found the two knives and the stolen cash in their possession.
The suspects were detained at the Boksburg North SAPS.
