Police said on Wednesday (June 29) they had no additional information in the investigation into the death of Xaba.
All they know is that the man was attacked by a group of people, who knocked him to the ground and repeatedly hit him.
An ambulance took the victim to Tambo Memorial Hospital, where he eventually died.
The investigating officer Det W/O Bradley Jacobs pleads for witnesses who saw the mob fatally attacking the man to come forward with information.

Reiger Park SAPS spokesperson Sgt Mashudu Phathela condemned the mob justice incident and warned community members in the precinct to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
“People must bear in mind that taking the law into own hands amounts to the commission of a serious crime. So we encourage members of the public to report all incidents of crimes to the police.
“All that you have to do is hand a suspect over to the police.” -@FanieFLK
