Alarm over hatred graffiti in Sunward Park

A Sunward Park resident is concerned over the hatred graffiti words that's been sprayed onto his neighbours' concrete wall.

'F*#k whites.' No one knows who has sprayed the words onto the wall.

The words ‘boesman wraak’, ‘swart gevaar’ and ‘f*#k whites’ has left its mark on the high security wall of a property that is situated next to a park.

According to the complainant, it’s not the graffiti that bothers him, but the message it carries.

So-called graffiti artists have sprayed the words ‘Boesman wraak’ and other hatred words onto the concrete wall of a Sunward Park resident.

“It incites hatred and violence. We don’t need such negative messages,” the complainant said.

It was the first time that this specific house has been the target of such crime.

‘Swart gevaar.’ The complainant is not bothered by the art of graffiti, but the message the words on the wall conveys.

It is unknown who the culprits are.

“It might just be innocent children, but I feel it’s necessary to bring this crime to the community’s attention,” he said.
