Community meeting in Van Dyk Park to address crime in Boksburg

In an effort to address crime in Boksburg, a community led meeting will be held in Van Dyk Park at 10.30am on Saturday, February 13.

It is expected that Ekurhuleni Mayor Mondli Gungubele will attend the meeting, which is open to the public from across Boksburg.

The issue of crime will be addressed and measures to fight and curb crime will also be discussed.

This initiative is part of a larger community movement to curb crime throughout Ekurhuleni, with areas such as Alberton, Brakpan, Benoni, Kempton, Germiston and Springs also targeted to make the streets safer again.

The meeting will be held at the hall at the Van Dyk Park dam, corner of Karee and Boabab streets.
