Dog of the year, dog handlers honoured
Achievers Dog Training School held its 12th Handler and Dog of the Year prize-giving ceremony to acknowledge and praise dog handlers’ achievements.
The annual event took place in the park at 110 Dudley Smith Street, Parkrand, on Saturday, December 5.
Winners received a wide range of prizes including certificates, trophies and medals.
“This event is the highlight of the year where we hand out accolades to all the achievers.
“We hold competitions yearly to encourage and motivate our handlers and dogs to succeed and work towards a goal.
“Our mission is to educate the public to have a well-behaved balanced companion and at the same time to enjoy and have fun doing this,” said the trainer-cum-owner of the school, Stephanie Zietsman.
