East Point prepares for holiday festivities

While renovations progress steadily at East Point (previously East Rand Galleria Shopping Centre) plans have already been set in motion to make this coming December one of the most festive yet for visitors.

This is according to Marietjie Pienaar, East Point Centre Manager.

“It is amazing how quickly the year has flown past and how much has been accomplished by our teams. Renovations are progressing smoothly and we’re pleased with the centre’s transformation so far,” said Pienaar.

“The latest renovation news includes the opening of the new Entrance 2 at Parrot’s by the beginning of December, providing shoppers with unlimited access to the eastern part of the centre.

“3@1 moves to their permanent location in the new section at Entrance 1, PEP will move opposite the Pick n Pay tills and Nino’s opens its doors opposite Nike Factory Store.

“Fashion Fusion created great excitement at East Point with the opening of their new store in November. Their opening specials had shoppers queuing in front of Entrance 1, patiently waiting their turn to have access to the store.

“While activities have been planned for the children this Christmas, adults also stand a chance to win a free makeover just by visiting the centre,” said Pienaar.

“There will be limited construction taking place in December and the site will close from December 19 to January 10. Parking will be safe and secure and unrestricted by building material or rubble.”

She thanked  all the tenants and shoppers for their patience during the renovations.

“We look forward to bringing everyone an enhanced shopping experience this festive season.”
