The women said they have to endure the man, who parks his car next to the salons and exposes himself to them every second day, while looking at them.
What is extremely disturbing is the fact that his haunts are not very far from two schools, Hoerskool Dr EG Jansen and Laerskool Concordia.
A woman at one of the salons told the Advertiser that this morning (October 13), the man parked his car as usual, got out and approached the salon gate while “playing with himself”.
He then performed a similar act outside the salon next door.
“We were sitting outside at around 8.30am when he parked his car, got out, opened the trunk and pulled down his pants,” said the woman, who added that she shouted and screamed at the pervert, who ran back to his car and drove away.
They are concerned about where he is going with this sort of behaviour and how it is going to end.
“We just don’t want to leave it until something bad happens,” the women said.
The man’s abhorrent behaviour apparently started three weeks ago and, when the women phoned the police station, the officers “just laughed at us”.
The man drives a blue Toyota Yaris and his name is known to the Advertiser.
The Boksburg North SAPS were at the scene with their station commander, Col Sam Makama, when the Advertiser arrived there at around midday today (October 13).
Makama said the women have opened a case and supplied the police with all the details and they are now investigating a public indecency case.
“We are hoping to make an arrest soon,” he added.
