Bank card thieves nabbed at Witfield Superspar
Two bank card thieves were caught red-handed at the Witfield Superspar in Main Road on September 8.
Boksburg North SAPS members were notified of the thieves being apprehended by security personnel just after 10.15am.
Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, said W/O Anton du Plessis and Const Frans Ledwaba attended to the complaint at the Spar.
“The guards noticed the two men grabbing the complainant’s bank card, which led them to take action,” said Coetzer.
She confirmed several community members also assisted in the apprehension of the suspects.
“This is an example that criminal activities will not be tolerated by the SAPS and the community. Together we can curb crime.”
