According to theBoksburg North SAPS communications officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, the meeting had a favourable outcome, with about 91 dealers attending.
“The aim is to get liquor dealers also to attend meetings in big numbers; the reason being to convey important information to the dealers and to obtain their information, which is required by the liquor officers,” she said.
The next meetings for all liquor and second-hand goods dealerships will be held on October 14 and December 2.
Both meeting will take place at the NG Kerk, corner of Fourteenth Avenue and Tenth Street, Boksburg North.
The second-hand goods meeting will take place at 10am and the liquor meeting at noon.
