Women spoiled and pampered at Birchwood Hotel
With August being Women’s Month, women across the country are still being celebrated for their hard work and their contributions to the business industry.
The Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre spoiled 200 businesswomen recently, with an afternoon of indulgence in the beautiful gardens.
Motivational speaker Gavin Sharples highlighted the importance of women being happy in their workspace, while Mrs South Africa finalist Kididimetse Tswai also graced the event, reminding women to be a true and authentic version of themselves.
During the day, six of South Africa’s leading wine estates offered tastings “paired” with gourmet mini-cupcakes, after a plated lunch.
Guests also enjoyed massages in the gardens by therapists from Mangwanani Spa.
“We at Birchwood have always acknowledged the incredible role women play at home and in the business environment. Today was about thanking our loyal clients and specifically the hardworking women of the corporate sector,” said Kevin Clarence, director of the Birchwood Hotel.
