Road rage incident ends in gun pointing in Boksburg North

Boksburg resident Proph Ntuli witnessed a road rage incident which ended up in a firearm being pointed at a man, at The Square in Rietfontein Road, on the afternoon of August 6.

Ntuli took photographs of the incident and posted them on his Facebook page, with the text: “A black man innocently bumped a white man’s car in Boksburg, near East Rand Mall, and the white man got out his car and smashed the black man’s car window and started hitting him, and a group of white men helped him, and suddenly pointed a gun at him, as seen in the pictures.”

Images show the man being beaten up and the windows of his car being broken by his assailant, who was holding a gun in his hand.

Images further show the assaulted man lying down, between the his assailant’s legs and begging for mercy.

The attacker is seen pointing a firearm at the victim.

The Advertiser has established that the incident did not take place at or near the East Rand Mall as stated by Ntuli, but at The Square in Rietfontein Road.

Boksburg North Police spokesperson Lieut Juanita Coezter said that no case had been opened at the police station at the time of going to press.
