Netcare Sunward adds some cheer, visits retirement home

Salochni Naidu, nursing services manager for Netcare Sunward Park Hospital said: “We have an opportunity to engage with patients when treating them, but we feel that it is so important to also engage with the community outside of the hospital, on a deeper level and to form lasting relationships.”

To this end, Naidu and her team are taking time to help support members of the community.

She said that the event is aimed at strengthening bonds and supporting the hard-working staff and elderly residents of Kowa Pienaar Tehuis.

The residents were surprised with new duvets and goodie bags containing face cloths, soap, sweets and biscuits to brighten their day.
