‘Slipper Day’ stickers available at all Wimpy outlets countrywide

This year Reach For A Dream will be activating the annual Slipper Day campaign, on Friday, August 7.

All South Africans can take part in the campaign by reaching for their slippers and wearing them to work, school, the mall, all in aid of helping children fighting life-threatening illnesses.

You can help a child’s dream to come true by buying your R10 sticker from a Wimpy until August 7 and proudly wearing them on Slipper Day.

Those who wear their sticker and slippers to Wimpy on the actual day of the campaign will be offered a free cup of regular coffee.

“Last year stickers sold through Wimpy outlets resulted in just over R1.1-million in funds for Reach For A Dream and this year we would like to sell even more stickers to our loyal customers, to further aid this non-profit organisation,” says Karabo Morudu, Wimpy’s brand manager.

Reach For A Dream has been around for 27 years and has dedicated itself to making dreams come true.

“All funds and proceeds raised through the our Slipper Day campaign will help to put a smile on the faces of the foundation’s ‘Dream Children’,” says Bronwyn Feldwick-Davis, from Reach For A Dream.

“Reach For A Dream prides itself on the countless children who have benefited through the generous support of companies such as Wimpy.”
