The accident happened on the N17, near Dalpark, at about 9.59am.
EMPD spokesperson Wilfred Kgasago said the driver of the motor vehicle was heading west when he lost control.
According to Kgasago, the vehicle swerved left, overturned and slid on its roof before landing on its side.
He said the driver was ejected through the windscreen and landed 15.4m from the car.
He was declared dead on scene by the paramedics and a culpable homicide case has been opened by the EMPD.
