Lieut Col Khumbulani Ndaba from Boksburg SAPS confirmed the incident, adding that a murder as well as an attempted murder dockets have been registered.
“The two unidentified men were stabbed multiple times outside a tavern and one of them died at the scene,” said Ndaba.
Police are said they are doing everything they can to find the person or people responsible.

* In another story, Reiger Park police acting on a tip-off arrested a Reiger Park (33) man after he was found with drugs.
“Our members received a tip-off about a drug trade in Stanbury Crescent and upon searching the suspect’s house, officers found 52 mandrax tablets and 60 CAT sachets,” said Srgt Mashudu Phathela from Reiger SAPS.
A total of R3700 in cash was also seized.
Phathela thanked community members for their assistance in the fight against drugs.
He urged residents to continue to be the eyes and ears of the police.
