Licensees urged to verify status of liqour licenses

The Gauteng Liquor Board (GLB) has revealed a list of about 9 484 liquor licenses, which may not be valid to trade in alcohol for various reasons.

As part of an effort to assist the businesses to comply, the GLB calls for licensees to verify and update the status of the licenses appearing on the released list.

The list is available for verification at the Liquor Regional Offices.

Liquor Traders are requested to verify and update the status of their licenses within 45 days from the date of publication of this notice.

Failure by liquor traders whose business appear on the list to verify and update the status of their licenses before the closing date will result in their licenses being declared null and void and will not be allowed to continue trading.

The closest Regional Office for Boksburg residents is on the corner of Victoria and Park streets, second floor of the Golden Height Building, Germiston.
