Correctional Services seeks a spiritual revival in the country

Hundreds of employees, seeking a spiritual revival in South Africa, gathered at Boksburg Correctional Services for an all-day prayer rally on Wednesday, February 25.

The event was organised by the Gauteng Department of Correctional Services.

Ekurhuleni Metro employees, EMPD officers, SANDF officers as well as prison officials from all over Gauteng were among those who attended the rally.

Tsakani Manganye, Deputy Director of Spiritual Care at the Department of Correctional Services, emphasised the importance of prayer.

She encouraged attendees to turn to God as the solution to their woes.

She also urged them to spread the Gospel in order to elicit real and lasting change in a crime-ridden South Africa.
