Nine cars pile up in Witfield accident; one person injured
A total of 12 cars were involved in two accidents, relating to each other, on Tuesday, February 3, on the N12 west before Kraft Road in Witfield.
EMER-G-MED responded immediately to the accident.
According to the EMER-G-MED spokesperson, Daniella Dooley, one person sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported to Roseacres Hospital.
“One car was sideswiped by another vehicle and spun out which caused all the other vehicles to bump into each other,” said Dooley.
“There was, however, another accident in the backup of this incident, involving three other cars.
“One patient with minor injuries was transported to hospital from the second collision by another emergency service.” – @NalediBoksburg
