Dagga found stashed in 11-year-old’s underwear

Two dagga cigarettes were found in an 11-year-old girl’s underwear, recently.

According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, the girl claimed that her father told her to hide the dagga in her underwear when the police approached him with the intention of conducting a body search.

The Germiston Flying Squad was observing the parking area at the corner of Trichardts and North Rand roads, when they saw the girl’s father buying an illegal substance.

“They stopped the man to investigate, and searched him and his vehicle. They could, however, not find anything on him or in his vehicle,” said Coetzer.

“The man had his 11-year-old daughter with him, so the officers accompanied them to the Boksburg North SAPS station where two policewomen were asked to search the girl.

“This is when they discovered dagga cigarettes on her.”

The male suspect was detained at the Boksburg North SAPS.

“Teenagers, over the age of 10 years, should take note that they could be arrested for a crime,” Coetzer concluded. – @IschkeBoksburg
