Two injured in Boksburg after vehicle rolls
Two people sustained injuries after a vehicle rolled on the N12 East, near the Rondebult Road off-ramp on Monday evening December 22.
One person sustained moderate injuries and another minor injuries in a single vehicle roll over that occurred on the N12 East before the Rondebult Road off-ramp.
A bakkie laying on its side with its canopy detached and groceries were scattered across the highway.
ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said in a statement, “One patient was trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle with the jaws of life. He sustained a crush injury to his hand.
“The two people sustained scrapes and bruises and they were treated on the scene and taken to the Tambo Memorial Hospital in Boksburg.”
The third person did not sustain injuries. The exact cause of the accident is not known.
