Ikhambi hands over Christmas teddies

December is the month of festivities, joy and all round celebrations.

This is the month families appreciate the pleasure of assembling together to reflect on a long year of hard work and jointly celebrate the successes the year presented.

We often take for granted the fact that there are many others that have lost their families in the year and will not have anyone to celebrate nor reflect with, this Christmas.

Ikhambi Group of companies CEO, Mike Van Wyk, has decided to donate over one hundred toys to the Community Crisis Centre, based in Reiger Park.

“No child should go through Christmas without a toy and being shown love.

“We believe in the spirit of Christmas and as a result are hoping to put smiles on the faces of the children that will receive these toys” says Van Wyk.

Ikhambi Corporate Communications and Marketing Director, Brinny Mphogo added: “We chose the Community Crisis Centre, because they look after children who have lost their parents due to HIV and AIDS.

“These children have had their family experiences robbed from them by this pandemic.

“We are playing a small role in society by donating these toys and would like to call on other organisations to do the same.”

The Boksburg based Ikhambi team will be handing the toys over to the Community Crisis Centre, based in Reiger Park, on Friday December 19 at 9am. – @IschkeBoksburg
