Farrar Park CPF Cycle challenge raises R25 520

Farrar Park CPF held a cycle challenge on Saturday, November 22, in a bid to raise money for security cameras in the area.

The challenge raised an amount of R25 550 (and still counting) according to event-coordinators, Sharleen Bradford and Lindsay Van Staaden.

“We would like this challenge to be an annual event with a view to eventually challenge our neighbouring CPF communities.”

About 103 cyclists participated in the event and the youngest was two years, and the oldest 65.

Following the successful cycle challenge, Cycle Lab – K90 Boksburg branch, donated a bicycle to 13-year-old Dineo Mashaeo, at their end-year function on Saturday, December 6.

“It was a very hard decision as everybody participating gave it their all.” – @NalediBoksburg
