Hirsch’s Zumbathon – hop for charity

Hirsch's will be hosting a Zumbathon for charity on December 13 from 9am until 10am at the K90 Centre.

According to the Hirsch’s Boksburg PRO, Brigitte Thysse, the aim of the Zumbathon is to collect goods for charity.

“The reason why I chose this event is because it is a fun and exciting way to raise money for charity. During the previous Zumba event in 2012, we managed to raise R3 000 for the House of Hadassah.”

Entrants are encouraged to bring along three sanitary goods (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, cream or toilet paper) to participate.

All goods will be distributed between Haven Care Centre in Benoni and St Francis Care Centre in Boksburg.

Martie Spangenberg will be the Zumbathon instructor.

“The best part is that you do not need to be an expert in Zumba to participate. Even if you are a terrible dancer and have two left feet, we will still ensure a fun and exciting experience for a good cause,” she adds.

To be a part of this event, e-mail Thysse at brigitte@hirschs.co.za. – @NalediBoksburg
