According to ER24 Spokesperson, Russel Meiring, ER24 paramedics, as well as other services, arrived on scene and found a man and two women lying roughly 100m away from their vehicle.
“On assessment, it was found that all three patients had sustained severe injuries to their heads and legs.”
Due to their severe injuries, paramedics had to provide the patients with advanced life support to stabilise their vital signs.
A medical helicopter was called in to airlift the male patient to Johannesburg General Hospital while the two female patients were transported by ambulance to Arwyp Hospital for urgent treatment.
According to Meiring, it is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle before it drove through a palisade fence and collided with a wall.
