Urban Ruins in Plantation offers free sporting activities to children

The Urban Ruins NPO project is a social entrepreneur venture that provides access to outdoor- and creative activities completely free of charge.

Since February, Urban Ruins has managed to provide a safe place to play for about 35 to 50 children daily, including Saturdays.

Below is a schedule of the various classes Urban Ruins provide:

* Tuesdays: Art from 3.15pm to 4pm

* Tuesdays: Yoga from 5pm

* Thursdays: Karate from 3.15pm to 4pm

* Thursdays: Yoga at 5pm

* Fridays: Community-based rehab clinic for children with special needs from 3pm

* Saturdays: Yoga at 9am

* Saturdays: Ball classes at 11am

* Saturdays: Guitar lessons at 12 noon
