eBlockwatch heats up cold cases

Community organisation eBlockwatch has committed itself to solving cold cases.

André Snyman, founder of eBlockwatch, says this decision came after working with Rob Matthews, father of Leigh Matthews, for many years.

“During the Leigh Matthews murder, Rob received a lot of support from the community.

“When I read about murders in the news I realised that these people may not be receiving support and then these cases go cold,” says Snyman.

They will be looking at cases throughout the country and try to assist the SAPS with solving them.

Snyman says anyone who has a cold case can become a member on their website, www.eblockwatch.co.za, and send them an email with the details of the case. – @CarmenBoksburg
