Police investigate two Angelo mysterious murders

The Boksburg police are appealing for information after two suspicious deaths were reported in two different locations in Angelo informal settlement.

A spokesman for the Boksburg SAPS, Kwendzakwakhe Ngobese, says the body of a man, aged between 25 and 30 years, was discovered by a passerby in the open veld, near Angelo railway station on Sunday, September 21.

“The circumstances surrounding his death are at this stage unclear,” says Ngobese.

The police are also trying to identify the body, and are seeking anyone who may assist with the investigation into his death.

In another incident, a 44-year-old Malawian national, Lyson Chikuse, died on Saturday morning, September 20, after he was stabbed three times in his left leg.

Chikuse was apparently stabbed on Friday evening while on his way home from a nearby tavern.

The heavily-bleeding Chikuse managed to walk about half a kilometre from the place where he was stabbed to his brother’s place, where he later fell on the ground.

Anyone with information is asked the call the investigating officer, Det-Const Calvin Mphaphuli on 071 422 7417/011 841 6858. – @FanieBoksburg
