Boksburg North station ranked number one

The Boksburg North SAPS has improved during the past year while it has been under the management of Col Sam Makama.

When Makama was appointed station commander, he stated that he needed the cooperation of his members, community and CPF for improvements to happen.

IT appears he has received such support.

He was also involved in the arrests of the robbers at Summerplace, while recovering stolen firearms.

Since his appointment as station commander, Makama has elevated the station’s crime prevention efficiency from a one star to four star ranking.

The station, previously ranked last in the Brakpan cluster, is now ranked first and fifth overall in the Gauteng province.

Makama has extended his sincere appreciation to all the SAPS members, at the station, as well as the CPF for their commitment and assistance.

“The relationship between the SAPS and CPF has grown from strength-to-strength, and many crime-fighting successes have been recorded during the past year,” says Makama, who sees it fit to lead by example.

“I remain dedicated to fighting crime in the area, building trusting relationships with the CPF and the community and to work together with all entities that have the same goals and visions.”
