Wall break-in suspects on the loose

Two male suspects literally broke into two houses, by breaking down the walls of the houses to enter.

The suspects are wanted for house break-in and theft, after breaking into two houses in Marbleton on Sunday, January 26.

According to Dawn Park SAPS spokesperson, Charles Tshabalala, the suspects targeted the two houses on Luvuyo Street, breaking a hole into the houses’ walls, using a street pole attached to a block of cement.

One of the two men was armed.

“The suspects broke into the first house, thinking it was a shop. Once they realised they were in the wrong house, they fled to the next house,” says Tshabalala.

He adds that the suspects went on to the next house a few meters down the road, and continued to break a hole in the wall.

“They found two men sleeping, and hit them over the head with their gun, the men are being treated in hospital. The suspects got away with airtime, cellphones and cigarettes worth seven thousand rand,” explains Tshabalala.

Two cases have been opened, and police are still investigating.

Tshabalala says the two suspects are still on the loose.
